KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It took Northwood (Fla.) two regular-season polls to jump back into the No. 1 ranking. The Seahawks, who corralled 372 total points and 11 first-place votes, replace former No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan in the third edition of the 2011 - 12 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, announced Monday by the national office. Jake Lockhart a former Norwich All Star player on scholarship recently scored 10 points to help his Northwood team to be the number one ranked NAIA Div Two team in the USA. Well done Jake.
Former Junior All Star player, Michael Warner recently scored 19 points for the University of Maine squad who play in the NCAA 3rd Division. Michael is averaging 12 ppg. after two games. Super Job Mike.
Our Former Norwich Knicks Junior who use to score 40 and 50 points in a game, Iren Rainey went on to play for the famous Oak Hill Academy Prep School in the USA. See Iren some 12 years later on You Tube under: Iren Rainey, He doesn't miss.
We are planning to do a separate link for our former players who have gone on to play in the states and ones who have played basketball for and graduated from: Cambridge, Oxford University, London School of Economics, Brooklyn College New York, etc, also for former players who now own their own businesses and are doing well in the community in the near future.

All Stars Intramural League
Are you aged between 13 and 17 and would like to participate in weekly scheduled games on a Sunday between 4pm until 6.30pm? Express your interest by individuals or teams. (Uniforms Jerseys supplied by us) We will start as soon as we have enough for 8 teams or 50 players. Format will be either 3 v3 (Max 5 per team) or 5v5 (max 8 per team) There will be prizes, competitions and fun for everyone including a All Star game. The Top players from each team and our members will be asked to represent the Norwich All Stars for further games at home and away.
